Motherhood Around the World: Photos From My Travels and Sent in From Readers

Motherhood is as ubiquitous to human life as is its meaning and impact impossible to overstate.

Perhaps this is why it’s as easy to take our mothers and motherhood for granted as it is to express endlessly to them and upon it. On this Mother’s Day 2017, let’s let some pictures of motherhood worldwide do the talking–some I’ve captured from my travels, others sent in from readers.
